By installing or using the fixmyask browser extension (“Extension”) on Chrome or Safari, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension and discontinue use immediately.

fixmyask is a browser extension that places a button on supported AI platforms, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and similar AI-powered websites. When clicked, the button rephrases the text you have entered in the prompt input field. The Extension operates entirely within your browser and is designed solely to help users improve the clarity and quality of their prompts.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Extension. By using fixmyask, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the fixmyask Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Extension
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the Extension to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of any third-party AI platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks through the Extension

fixmyask may collect and process information in connection with your use of the Extension as described in our Privacy Policy, including: your name and email address for account-related communications; age to verify eligibility; IP address for security, fraud prevention, and service delivery; prompt history (prompts you rephrase, stored so you can access and review them); and usage and analytics data such as button click events, browser type and version, extension version, and general error or crash reports.

We do not collect your credentials or passwords from any third-party AI platform, payment or financial information, sensitive categories of personal data such as health, biometric, or government ID information, or your general browsing history outside of supported AI platforms.

How we use, store, and protect your data — including your rights and our policies on sharing — is set out in the Privacy Policy. By using the Extension, you consent to the collection and use of information as described there.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the fixmyask Extension, including its design, code, branding, and associated materials, are and remain the exclusive property of the fixmyask developers. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. fixmyask is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google Gemini, or any other third-party AI platform referenced or supported by the Extension.

The Extension is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fully compatible with all versions of Chrome or Safari.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, fixmyask and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension, if any.

We reserve the right to update these Terms or modify the Extension at any time. Continued use after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We may also suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time, without notice, for any conduct we determine to be in violation of these Terms or harmful to users or third parties.
